Absences Add Up!
The school district has an opening for the Unit Office Secretary position. This is a 12-month position, hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm M-F. Responsibilities include the transportation program, meals programs, district treasurer, communication with staff and the public, and assisting the superintendent. Please apply to dee.scott@caseywestfield.org if you are interested.
Oakland Noodles will be delivered on November 20th to Monroe. We will sort and get them out to students ASAP. If you had an extra large order, we will be contacting you for pick-up. All other orders will be sent home with students. This may be a two day process, so please do not panic if you do not get your noodles on Monday... you will for sure get noodles by Tuesday. Thank you so much!

If you are planning to eat the Chili and Cinnamon Roll Meal at Family Reading Night, please return the form and payment by Friday, November 10th. Purchasing the meal is optional. Families can come to read and AR test only.

Absentee/Retake Day Picture Day is:

Wagner Portrait Group will be at school to photograph any students who were absent on the initial picture day or any student that needs his/her picture retaken.
If you are having a picture taken as a RETAKE, please make sure your student returns their package in its entirety, including the package insert sheet, to the photographer on retake day.

The position of JH/HS Secretary is currently open. JH/HS Secretary Position Hours & Pay:
The current hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm with a one-hour paid lunch. Summer Break hours are 8 am to 3 pm and 8 am to 1 pm on Friday. The HS Secretary position is a 12-month position; they receive 12 paid holidays with 2 double-time working holidays (Veterans Day and Casimir Pulaski Day) throughout the year. After the first year, this position gets ten vacation days; after 15 years, it goes up to 15 days. The starting pay is $14.00/hour. Additionally, the district pays $475 per month toward the health insurance contribution if this person takes the district-provided insurance. This position has 12 sick days, 3 personal days, and two bereavement days.

🎃Upcoming Event: Costume Preview Day🎃
🍁Oakland Noddle Fundraiser🍁 orders are due back on Wednesday, October 18th. Please take the weekend to get out and sell some noodles! This fundraiser is so important to Monroe as it completely funds our BRAVE program. The funds go towards:
*Incentive trips
*BRAVE reward parties
*End of the Year Carnival
*Class field trips
*Classroom supplies for special projects
*100 point club shirts
Just to name a few.
Any and all noodle sales allow for Monroe to continue to make the school day not only educational, but FUN too!
