Mrs. Robinson's class had a spooktacular Halloween. 👻 The little goblins launched ghost rockets, stirred up bubbling witch's brew, shouted "BINGO!" and munched on Halloween Chex mix. Our classroom was filled with giggles and magical moments!

Miss Bishop presented a challenge to her class - if they had 10 students from their homeroom attend Family Reading Night, they would earn something special for Halloween! We will call this a Close to all school collaboration project (a few students were absent and no kindergarten). Students were given one color family to use and had to complete a self portrait picture. My student assistant, Lucy Moore, arranged them in rainbow order! ROYGBIV for the win! 🌈
🌰✨The last couple of weeks in Zone Room sessions, our younger students read Acorn Was a Little Wild by Jen Arena and talked all about what it means to have self-control and make safe, kind choices — even when we feel a little “wild”!
Our older students focused on the same theme of growth and self-control, sharing real-life examples of when they made strong choices and how they can keep growing this fall.

Everything in orange! We are learning about the color orange and how it's made. Perfect for the month of October! 🎃 1st graders also drew their first still life observation drawing. I'm so proud of their work!
The Casey-Westfield Band will be having a ribeye and pork-burger drive-thru on Thursday, October 16th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the North side of the High School by the band room.
We want to sell "OODLES OF NOODLES" to fund our BRAVE account! This is the only fundraiser we do to help offset the cost of incentive trips, BRAVE parties, AR parties, field trips, etc. We're hoping these prizes encourage our students to get out there and sell some noodles!
