Longtime Monroe Elementary Principal Announces Retirement After 29 Years with Casey-Westfield Schools
Monroe Elementary School will be saying goodbye to a familiar face this June. Principal Linda Campbell, who began her career with Casey-Westfield Community Unit School District 4C in 1995, will be retiring after nearly three decades of dedication to local students.
Mrs. Campbell's journey with the district began in 1995. Over the years, she has touched the lives of countless students and families. In 2017, she took on the role of principal at Monroe Elementary, where she has since championed a positive and nurturing learning environment.
" I have learned so much from Linda through my years of working with her. She loves our students and staff and takes great responsibility in making sure Monroe runs smoothly. Linda has also been a great friend and so much fun to work with. What I will miss the most is her laugh. She has the best laugh. Congratulations Mrs. Campbell on your retirement. Relax and Enjoy! You have more than earned it!" said Ginger Birchfield.
Mrs. Campbell will be missed by the Casey-Westfield staff, students and community. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
