Junior High Cross Country had their end of the season banquet on Sunday where all the runners were recognized and 8th graders Kolton Davidson and Addi Harris received their 8th grade presents and recognition. In the picture with everyone who attended the banquet from left to right the following awards were received Callie Wolfe-Most Improved, Addi Harris-Best Finisher, Emmy Kusterman-Rookie of the Year, Lauren Goble-Heart and Hustle Award, Nolan Wilson-Rookie of the Year, Garrick Boyd-MVP, Alex Murray-Most Improved, and Kolton Davidson-4 Year Participant Award and Leadership Award. The following runners also received awards but were unable to attend the banquet Cyrus Large, Blayne Fisher, Addy Cox, Pyper Whaley, Carly Beebe, Raylan Henderson, and Harper Littlejohn.

7th Grade Science class finished their cell projects to wrap up the end of the 1st quarter. They have been out on display this week for parent-teacher conferences. Everyone did a great job!







Chemistry I classes completed a lab doing glass bending. This wrapped up the end of their physical and chemical changes unit. Everyone seemed to really enjoy the lab activity.





Casey-Westfield gratefully recognizes Blattner Energy for their substantial support. This donation will fund lighting upgrades, enabling the transition to energy-efficient LED lighting systems for our facilities.

High School Cross Country raced at the Trojan Classic Cross Country Invite at Linder Park in Charleston on Saturday, October 18th. There were 280 total runners between the girl's and boy's races and great weather as we finished before the storms came in. Kayla Clark received a medal for her 22nd finish of 20:38. There were several PRs with Wade Winnett at 18:07, Rylie Large at 18:13, Brayden Clark at 20:18, and Alex Hancock at 21:43. Everyone did a fantastic job at our last regular race of the season. This weekend we will compete on Saturday morning at Regionals at Lake Land College. Girls race at 10 am and boys follow at 11am.










Junior Class is beginning their fundraiser today. They need to raise money for prom and their senior trip. Please see your favorite Junior to help fill in their 2027! Checks can be made payable to CWHS Junior Class. The fundraiser will run through Friday, November 21st. Money needs to be turned into Mrs. Harris. Thank you for your support!

On Thursday, October 9th High School Cross Country went to Lake Land College to compete in the Cumberland Invite. We brought home the hardware. Medaling for the boys were Eli Richardson at 45th with a time of 17:55, Rylie Large at 58th with a PR and time of 18:27, and Wade Winnett at 71st with a time of 19:04. A shout out to Brayden Clark for also receiving a PR. Medaling for the girls were Kayla Clark at 11th with a time of 20:37, Kaitlyn McKinney at 41st with a PR and time of 23:15, Amelia Washburn at 59th with a time of 24:54, and Olivia Henderson at 63rd with a PR and time of 25:22. We are proud of all of our runners!
